York Space Systems to build satellites for SDA and support Space Force missions
What happened
York Space Systems announced on October 5 that it will build hundreds of satellites for the Space Development Agency and other customers destined for low Earth orbit. The company will also support U.S. Space Force missions in geosynchronous Earth orbit, including the Tetra-3 and Tetra-4 missions. These missions, referred to by York Space Systems as “Nemesis,” have cleared a critical design review milestone.
