Advocate Health expands clinical trial capacity to address U.S. research bottlenecks
What happened
A recent opinion essay noted that the complex and slow process of testing new treatments is a major obstacle to scientific discovery, potentially driving clinical research overseas. In response, Advocate Health launched its National Center for Clinical Trials in November 2025. The center supports industry-funded clinical trials across Advocate Health and expects to start at least 20% more new trials in 2026 than in 2025.
