What happened
Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan are participating in the Climate-resilient Landscapes in Central Asia (CLiCA) program. This initiative, developed by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) with national partners, aims to improve climate resilience for over 1 million people. The program focuses on sustainable land management of nearly 939,000 hectares and targets a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 6.95 million metric tons of CO₂ equivalent.
